Yankees Swap Gonzalez to Mariners for Hernaiz Thursday, July 31st , 2025 In a hastily called press conference, New York announced today a trade with Seattle that will send 37-year old RF Miguel Gonzalez and $490,000 in cash to the Mariners in exchange for 19-year old minor league 2B Henry Hernaiz and 23-year old minor league RF Victor Mendez. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Currently Gonzalez is batting .240 with 6 home runs and 28 RBIs. |
