Colorado Sends Paxson to Atlanta Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Colorado has worked out terms of a deal to send 28-year old 1B Kyle Paxson and $2,030,000 in cash to Atlanta for 24-year old LHP Jose Gonzales. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. This year, Paxson is batting .315 with 67 hits, 8 home runs, 27 RBIs, 15 walks, .376 OBP and has scored 26 runs. This season, Gonzales has chalked up 3 saves, notched a 2-6 record with a 5.40 ERA, allowed 58 hits in his 48.1 innings of work, struck out 38 and walked 15. Opponents are hitting .293 against the Colorado hurler. |
