Cubs Trade Benavides to Blue Jays for Kamber Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Chicago and Toronto have made a swap. Players involved in the transaction are the Cubs 31-year old RF David Benavides and $450,000 in cash and the Blue Jays 21-year old minor league 1B Randy Kamber and 24-year old minor league C Eric McIndoo. Chicago will retain a portion of Benavides's remaining contract. This year, Benavides is batting .297 with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs. In 105 games he has scored 59 times. |
