Garcia and Ochoa Traded Wednesday, July 30th , 2025 Earlier today, officials from the New York Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds announced that they had finalized negotiations on a trade between the two teams. The deal will send 38-year old RHP Luis Garcia and $230,000 in cash to Cincinnati in exchange for 20-year old minor league CF Felipe Ochoa. This year, Cincinnati reliever Garcia has made 37 relief appearances and has 23 saves. His record is 2-5 with 27 strikeouts in 40.1 innings and a 2.90 ERA. |
