Reds, Blue Jays Trade Players Wednesday, July 30th , 2025 Signed ... sealed ... and delivered. Cincinnati has worked out terms of a deal to send 26-year old LF Joe Holden and $210,000 in cash to Toronto for 25-year old RHP Dustin Latimer and 23-year old minor league RF Geordi Mostoller. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. Cincinnati will retain a portion of Holden's remaining contract. Holden is batting at a .272 pace this season, picking up 53 hits in 195 at-bats with 20 home runs, 37 RBIs and 38 runs scored. Thus far this season, Latimer has tossed 121.1 innings in 22 starts, fanned 114 batters, walked 43 and put up a 4.60 ERA with 5 wins and 8 losses. |
