Los Angeles has worked out terms of a deal to send 31-year old RHP Manny Garcia and $320,000 in cash to Toronto for 22-year old minor league LF Mikkel Berthelsen. Both teams expect to introduce their new players at press conferences later in the week. This season, Garcia is 5-and-3 with 2 saves and a 5.21 ERA. He has given up 58 hits in 48.1 innings with 39 strikeouts. |
