Rye Silences Milwaukee, 10-0 Sunday, June 22nd , 2025 Chicago Cubs starter Cody Rye really did a number on the Milwaukee Brewers, shutting them out, 10-0, on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 3 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Milwaukee manager Nick Fichthorn. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Rye."
