Castro Batters Minnesota for 5 Hits Wednesday, June 18th , 2025 The Brewers whipped the Twins, 14-11, at Target Field and Edwin Castro had a big hand in the win. The Brewers right fielder came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Castro and a tough day for Minnesota. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Castro delivered -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Edwin Castro singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
