Boston Shuts Out Toronto Behind Garcia, 5-0 Wednesday, June 18th , 2025 The Toronto Blue Jays manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Boston Red Sox. The Blue Jays were overpowered by Boston starter Juan Garcia, who hurled his club to victory, 5-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Chris Gershon said. Over 7 innings, Garcia blanked Toronto on 2 hits with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off.
