Moore Goes Downtown 3 Times Against Pirates Sunday, June 8th , 2025 Whatever Aaron Moore ate for breakfast before his game against the Pittsburgh Pirates, it gave him some impressive power. The Colorado catcher smacked three balls up and out of the park at PNC Park. His home run barrage helped the Rockies defeat the Pirates, 11-1. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 5-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Aaron Moore hit a solo-shot off Xavier Florez in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Dashawn McClung in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Cameron Marcum in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. For the season, Moore has hit .263 with 13 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 34 times. |
