5-Hit Barrage by Holguin Tuesday, June 3rd , 2025 Mike Holguin really sizzled at the plate in his team's 6-3 win over the Texas Rangers. The Cincinnati first baseman blistered Texas for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Holguin was too tough to get out today," the Rangers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Mike Holguin singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Josh Martin in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
