Cleveland's Pitts Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Sunday, June 1st , 2025 Micah Pitts had an answer for everything the Kansas City Royals threw at him at Progressive Field. The Cleveland center fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Guardians a win, 5-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Pitts said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Micah Pitts flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
