New York-Los Angeles Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, May 27th , 2025 Ethan Hutchinson of the New York Mets and Alexis Chavez of the Los Angeles Angels will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Mets-Angels game at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Hutchinson and Chavez will begin serving them soon. Currently Hutchinson is batting .327 with 67 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 25 runs and scored 34 times. Over the season, Chavez has made 4 relief appearances with 1 save. He has K'd 29 batters in 46 innings, yielded 19 walks and has a 5.28 ERA. Chavez's record this year is 2-5. |
