Randall Smacks 3 Out of the Park Thursday, May 22nd , 2025 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Visalia Rawhide. Lake Elsinore shortstop Nick Randall tripled up on the home runs to propel the Storm to a win, 14-3, at Rawhide Stadium. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Visalia manager Matt Peyton said. "Randall hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Randall collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Nick Randall hit a solo-shot off Jordan Jones in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jordan Jones in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Matt Boore in the 8th. In 2025 Randall has hit at a .348 clip with 49 hits, 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and has scored 29 times. |
