5-for-5 Day for Washburne Wednesday, April 22nd , 2026 Visalia center fielder Mike Washburne had a big day at Storm Field against the Lake Elsinore Storm. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 12-5 Rawhide triumph over Lake Elsinore. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Washburne said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."
