CAL Top Skipper is Panzer of Inland Empire Sunday, September 28th , 2025 Sam Panzer stepped before the microphone today and accepted his California League Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Inland Empire 66ers organization for making the 2025 season such a success. Panzer struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Inland Empire organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Panzer sparked the 66ers to a 91-49 record and a first in the Southern Division standings. |
