5-Hit Barrage by Fitzpatrick Monday, August 11th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Chris Fitzpatrick is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Modesto Nuts at Storm Field. The monster effort from the 23-year-old first baseman helped the Lake Elsinore Storm get the win, 12-4. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Nuts manager Noah Lockhart. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Chris Fitzpatrick singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This season in 6 games, Fitzpatrick is batting .480 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and has scored 4 times. |
