Hits Galore: Lopez Drills 5 Hits Sunday, July 27th , 2025 Willie Lopez had an answer for everything the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes threw at him at Quakes Grove. The Inland Empire left fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the 66ers a win, 3-1. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Lopez said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Willie Lopez hit a solo-shot off Jesus Pastora in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. To date Lopez has chalked up a .318 average with 9 home runs, driven in 32 runs and scored 33 times. |
