Centers Smacks 5 Hits for Grizzlies Saturday, June 14th , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ryan Centers. Centers went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off San Jose pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Oracle Park, he had a 5-for-7 line and a day he will long remember. And the Fresno Grizzlies had a win, 21-0, over the Giants. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Ryan Centers doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Fernando Rodriguez in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season, Centers is batting .329 with 55 hits, 2 home runs, 23 RBIs, 11 walks, .378 OBP and has scored 21 runs. He has played in 45 games. |
