Gallagher Has 31-Game Hitting Streak Saturday, May 24th , 2025 Ryan Gallagher's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 31 games. The Clearwater shortstop smacked 4 hits against the St. Lucie Mets in today's game at Citi Field, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Threshers drop the game, 12-11. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Ryan Gallagher singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ken Purnell in the 7th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 11th. So far this season, Gallagher has hit .383 with 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 11 times. |
