Budge 7-for-7 for Bradenton Sunday, April 27th , 2025 It seemed that Bradenton right fielder Josh Budge could do no wrong as the Marauders KO'd the Hammerheads, 17-16. Budge rapped out 7 hits in 7 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Hammerheads hurlers were throwing. "I think the Marauders were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Jupiter fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Budge in the postgame press interview. Josh Budge singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 12th. So far this year, Budge is batting .447 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
