Chaires Crowned Batter of the Month in May Monday, June 1st , 2026 When Roberto Chaires stepped up to the plate in May he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Florida State League Batter of the Month award. The young Bradenton right fielder posted a .341 batting average with 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 14 runs. Chaires also worked pitchers for 6 walks to post a .380 on-base percentage.
