Tampa Starter Selected Best Pitcher Monday, September 1st , 2025 Rick Hutchison hasn't been around long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Florida State League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Tampa starter earned a 4-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 33 innings, struck out 23 and compiled a solid 1.64 ERA. Hutchison has made 24 starts so far this year and put up a 12-5 won-lost record with a 2.88 ERA. In 140.2 innings he has allowed 166 hits, walked 24 and struck out 112. |
