Red-Hot Young Scorches Tortugas Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 Bobby Young was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Tortugas Grounds, the Clearwater left fielder blistered the Daytona Tortugas for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a good 10-6 victory. "Young was too tough to get out," Tortugas skipper Ryan Lynch said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Bobby Young hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. This year, Young has hit at a .352 pace and produced 32 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 38 runs. |
