Tarpons Agosto Sizzles with Cycle Monday, August 4th , 2025 Xadreque Agosto saw a spectacular performance go to waste in his club's 7-5 loss to the Palm Beach Cardinals at Tarpons Grounds. The Tampa Tarpons left fielder had 2 RBI and went 4-for-5, including hitting for the cycle, but his club went down to defeat anyway. "Everything they threw him, he was swatting around the field," said the Tampa skipper David Ebner. "It really was a special performance for Xadreque. It's a shame we couldn't win the game, too." Xadreque Agosto hit a two-run home run off Sean Martin in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. For the year, Agosto has hit at a .304 clip with 29 RBIs, 6 home runs and 32 runs scored. |
