Diaz July's Best Bat Choice Friday, August 1st , 2025 Rafael Diaz is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Dunedin third baseman joined that select company when the Florida State League announced the results of July's voting. Diaz totaled 43 hits, 9 walks, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .448 batting average and .505 on-base percentage. So far this season, Diaz is batting .372 with 12 home runs, 65 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 131 hits in 352 at-bats, 32 walks and a .431 OBP. Diaz has played in 91 games. |
