Arts on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Jupiter Thursday, June 19th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Tommy Arts is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Jupiter Hammerheads at Hammerheads Park. The monster effort from the 23-year-old left fielder helped the Lakeland Flying Tigers get the win, 15-7. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Hammerheads manager Nate Lockwood. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Tommy Arts singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Shane Brashear in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Arts is currently hitting .247 with 2 home runsand 19 RBIs, while scoring 17 runs. |
