The Palm Beach catcher just broke into the majors this year and now the Florida State League has just picked him as its top hitter for May. In 21 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .390 with 8 home runs, 26 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season, Hughes has hit at a .354 clip and produced 32 runs batted in, 9 home runs and 19 runs. |
