Gallagher Hit Streak Reaches 36 Games Saturday, May 31st , 2025 Ryan Gallagher's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Clearwater. The 18-year-old shortstop extended it once again, this time bringing it to 36 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the Lakeland Flying Tigers. The Threshers won the game, 2-0. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Ryan Gallagher doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and doubled in the 11th. Gallagher's current batting average stands at .396 and he has chalked up 2 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
