Gallagher Extends Hit Streak to 34 Games Wednesday, May 28th , 2025 Ryan Gallagher has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Clearwater shortstop picked up 2 more today against the Daytona Tortugas and now has a 34-game hitting streak. The Threshers won the game, 7-3. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Ryan Gallagher hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this year, Gallagher is hitting .383 with 2 home runs. |
