Great May Gets Brown NWL Best Hitter Award Monday, June 1st , 2026 Daniel Brown put together a good May to earn the Northwest League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Tri-City officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Dust Devils second baseman posted a .330 batting average with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 runs scored. To date, Brown has collected 48 hits for a .304 average.
