May's Best Hurler in NWL Is Brueggen

He was the top pitcher in May, according to the voters. Ron Brueggen shell-shocked enemy batters to win the Northwest League Pitcher of the Month Award.

Great May Gets Brown NWL Best Hitter Award

Daniel Brown put together a good May to earn the Northwest League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Tri-City officials that he belongs on the big league roster.
The Dust Devils second baseman posted a .330 batting average with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
To date, Brown has collected 48 hits for a .304 average. He has posted 8 home runs, scored 31 runs and driven in 25 runs.
