He easily handled Canadians pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Indians triumph, 16-3, at Canadians Stadium. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Stafford's quip, Canadians skipper Manny James said he "would take him up on that next time."
