Dilley 5-for-5 Against Emeralds Monday, September 8th , 2025 Chad Dilley was sizzling at the plate. The Tri-City catcher blistered the Eugene Emeralds for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 7-5. "Dilley was too tough to get out today," Emeralds skipper Bill Hughes said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." Chad Dilley hit a solo-shot off Miguel Avila in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 10th. This season, Dilley has hit at a .323 clip with 56 RBIs, 11 home runs and 68 runs scored. He has played in 114 games. |
