Ruckus Reaps 3-Game Suspensions Friday, August 29th , 2025 Hillsboro and Tri-City were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 3-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Dust Devils Field. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Hops Anthony Curtis and the Dust Devils Casey Werner will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. So far on the season, Curtis is hitting .271 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 23 hits and played in 35 games. Werner has taken the mound for 24 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 4-1 record with a 5.54 ERA. The Tri-City reliever has limited opposing batters to a .339 batting average. |
