Pittman Socks It to Emeralds, Cracks 5 Hits Tuesday, July 29th , 2025 Chris Pittman of the Spokane Indians went on a hitting spree against the Eugene Emeralds pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Emeralds put a damper on his day and prevailed, 12-8, over the Indians. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Chris Pittman singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season, Pittman has produced 34 hits in 111 at-bats for a .306 average with 1 home run and gotten on base at a .364 clip. |
