Helms Mows Down Spokane, 5-0 Friday, June 20th , 2025 Jesse Helms of the Everett AquaSox toyed with the Spokane Indians, as he shut them out, 5-0, at Ballpark of Everett. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 6-hitter with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Helms said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." This season to date, Helms has a record of 3 wins and 5 losses with a 2.98 ERA, has appeared in 8 games and struck out 40 in 57.1 innings. |
