SAL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, May 25th , 2026 It was announced today that Winston-Salem third baseman Jason Schwerdtfeger had received the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award for his impressive play last week. All week long he was terrific at the plate and won the honor with a .526 BA (10-for-19), 1 home run and 6 RBIs. Schwerdtfeger is currently hitting at a .326 pace with 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 7 times. |
