Southern Division Winner is Greenville Drive
Monday, August 25th , 2025
Branson Peters said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Greenville Drive teammates were so excited to celebrate their Southern Division championship today.
"It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing."
That belief has paced the club to a 90-34 record on the season. It is the club's 1st Southern Division championship and puts them in position for their 1st South Atlantic League championship.
"It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Robby Riggle said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us."
