Thomas Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, May 23rd , 2026 It seemed that Hudson Valley third baseman John Thomas could do no wrong as the Renegades KO'd the Ironbirds, 5-4. Thomas rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Ironbirds hurlers were throwing. "I think the Renegades were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Aberdeen fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Thomas in the postgame press interview.
