Roa on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, April 20th , 2026 Bowling Green fans have something to crow about today as Bowling Green second baseman Raul Roa nabbed the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Roa. He posted a .452 average (14-for-31) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 11 runs scored. |
