5-Hit Blitz by Greenville's Hernandez
Friday, September 19th , 2025
Jordan Hernandez of the Drive was unstoppable in his team's 13-4 victory over the Brooklyn Cyclones at Ballpark of Brooklyn. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Greenville second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Jordan Hernandez hit a two-run home run off Frank Andrade in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
So far this season, Hernandez has put up a .341 batting average with 123 hits, 10 home runs and 65 RBIs.
