SAL's Top Hitter Selected Monday, September 1st , 2025 Terry Benner put together a good August to earn the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Rome officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Braves first baseman posted a .360 batting average with 7 home runs, 17 RBIs and 12 runs scored. Benner is batting .340 this season in 29 games with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 94 at-bats. |
