SAL Player of the Week Goes to Starcher of Hudson Valley Monday, July 21st , 2025 Kyle Starcher demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award. The Hudson Valley right fielder wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .556 average (15-for-27) with 1 home run and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. So far this season, Starcher is hitting .333 with 4 home runs, 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 45 hits in 135 at-bats and a .389 OBP. |
