Ramirez Gets 5 Hits Friday, July 18th , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Armando Ramirez. Ramirez went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Hickory pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Renegades Stadium, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Hudson Valley Renegades had a win, 12-6, over the Crawdads. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Armando Ramirez hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. This season, Ramirez is batting .315 with 57 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 11 times and has 15 RBI. |
