Starcher Torches Hot Rods for 5 Hits Tuesday, July 15th , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Kyle Starcher of the Hudson Valley Renegades. Starcher went on a tear at Renegades Stadium and cracked hit after hit off Bowling Green pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 23-year-old right fielder had a career 5-for-6 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Starcher's personal accolades, the Bowling Green Hot Rods walked off the field with the 13-9 win. Kyle Starcher hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. This season, Starcher is hitting .333 with 40 hits, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs, scored 20 runs and played in 30 games. |
