Guzman Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, May 22nd , 2025 It was a parade of hits for Jordan Guzman of the Lansing Lugnuts at Lansing Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Guzman finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Lugnuts to a win, 8-5. "Guzman was really good and we were really bad," groaned Timber Rattlers manager Jimmy Baillargeon. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jordan Guzman singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Andy White in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ted del Pino in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Guzman is batting at a .330 pace this season, picking up 35 hits in 106 at-bats with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
