Shay Named MID Batter of the Month Monday, June 1st , 2026 Ezra Shay may be much younger than other hitters in the Midwest League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in May to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old Lansing shortstop hit .386 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This season, Shay is batting at a .392 clip with 12 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
