Guzman Picked MID Player of the Week Monday, May 25th , 2026 Lansing fans have something to crow about today as Lansing left fielder Jordan Guzman nabbed the Midwest League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Guzman. He posted a .520 average (13-for-25) this past week with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 8 runs scored. Guzman is currently batting .344 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 151 at-bats. |
