MID Player of the Week Named Monday, May 4th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Juan Mena was in a class by himself in the Midwest League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Lake County tagged opposing pitchers for a .556 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 15 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 homers, 8 runs scored and 5 RBIs. This year, Mena is batting .352 with 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. |
